Burr Elm and foraged treasure

PORTS OF LISMORE COLLECTION
Nestled below a line of cliffs is the stony beach of Port Challtuinn. Although well protected on 3 sides from the worst of the Southwesterly weather and having good grazing close by, there is no sign of any old habitation. We can only guess at a bygone use, as many of the ancient dwellings on Lismore were of a simple grass sod constructions and have completely vanished under hundreds of years of hooves.
